This stunning white huacaya fleece was one of our largest from this years harvest, and showcases the luxurious qualities that have made alpaca fiber treasured by fiber artists around the world. With its beautiful crimp, lofty texture, and exceptionally soft feel, and very long staple length this fleece is particularly well suited for hand spinning fine yarns, blending with other fibers, or creating elegant felted pieces. Harvested directly from our herd, it offers a wonderful combination of natural beauty, versatility, and farm-fresh authenticity that makes every project feel a little more special. The blanket has been lightly skirted. Nathan was born 6/2021. This shearing is from June 2026.
While this fiber has not yet been professionally histogram tested, the fiber is approximately a very low Grade 2. (20 - 22.9 micron).
Price includes USPS Priority Shipping. All fleeces have been stored in individual plastic bags that have been vacuumed sealed and tied, then stored in heavy duty plastic storage bins with cedar immediately after shearing.
